This combo package includes:

12oz CO2 Tanks Fit the Following SodaStream Machines: Genesis, Source, Source Metal, Fizzi, Crystal, and Penguin.

Simply screw SodaMod adapter on the tank and then into your Sodastream machine.The SodaMod replaces the booby trapped SodaStream CO2 tank with a standard Paintball CO2 tank.  It includes the SodaMod a USA made brass adapter that it fits into the SodaStream unit.  Simply fill the Paintball CO2 tank with CO2 at any paintball store or gas supply house for $3.00-$5.00 (average price) instead of the $20.00-$30.00 that the SodaStream tank costs.  Then screw the SodaMod adapter onto the tank and insert it in the SodaStream unit just like you would with the standard SodaStream tank.  There are no unsightly and bulky hoses to deal with.  The Sodastream unit with the SodaMod will look and perform the same as the stock SodaStream unit while saving you money.

Received adapter but it's not working May 26, 2018

I received the cans and the adapter this week. The adapter is not working (missing 1 piece). I called SodaMod and they are sending me the piece "sometime next week". At that price, I would have expected better quality control. And now I need to go to the store to get a SodaStream refill cartridge.

So far everything is working as intended.  One tank however wasn't filling though I had gotten an immediate response to this and am sending it back for replacement.  Will definitely recommend! :)

Great product, very happy with our purchase.  The method of shipping could have been better, the way our order was shipped it started out with Fedex then was handed off to the postal system for delivery, it probably would have gotten here quicker if it was shipped by only one carrier.

The SodaMod Adapter is easy to install - just screw it on. You may have to adjust it with included 1/16" Allen wrench so valve will open & fully close. I check for CO2 bubbles leaking from the spout with a glass of water. You can get by with just 2 tanks - one in use & a spare - but we wanted to make fewer refill trips. Refill CO2 tanks @ $3-$4 vs. $15-$20 for exchange tank, your SodaMod Adapter & tanks should pay for themselves in 6-12 months..
